Maze changes probabilities as the tease goes on by removing cards.

I think I'll try a manual version just to test the idea :P

I was looking at the maze tease and realized it was a deck un-building game.

The Maze retease mechanic made me think about something. And I remembered some TV shows when I was younger. Basically it was a popular boardgame where each player had to do something. They bet money on each tile and won the money if they reach the end.


Which is basically what is known today as a Mario Party. So, the idea is going through a deck of random trials in order to reach the final prize.

But I'm not sure about how to face this mechanic in particular. I have 3 ideas so far:


1) Generic randomness.
- Select a Random trial.
- Do it.
- Get points if succesful.
- Take the prize when you havve enough points.

Which is basically how the Stamina tease works. Do stuff, get points, get a prize. But with trials instead of edging.

2) Set up the boardgame in a custom software.

This is me editing the CTI Slideshow again so it knows in which tile you are. Also editing the card editor so it could storebasic info for the trials, where they should appear (if a certain tile must always have the same trial), setting SC/SD/pics for the trial if needed etc etc...

3) The last idea is somewhere in between.

You set up your boardgame outside your computer. You build your deck. And then you play with your own rules, throw a dice, land in a tile, draw a trial...


Any ideas? :)
