I personally got started with a cheaper MyStim kit. Which works pretty well. However a more recently released product which has it's advantages and disadvantages is the https://dungeon-lab.com/e-stim-unit.php it's a bit more pricey, but it is app-controlled. Which also means that people are reverse-engineering the protocol. (xtoys has support for it).

I've been thinking on trying e-stim recently but not sure how to start with it.

Any advice on that?

The best advice I've seen so far is from https://www.sexmachinereviews.co.uk/ (Joanne's E-Stim Community) they also have a discord with a fairly open questions policy.

1. Don't work above the belt. But if you for whatever reason must, never work across the heart, never work on the neck or head.
2. If it isn't sticky by itself, use plenty of water based lube.
3. Large are means soft tickle. Small area means stabbing pains. In the case of the cage. If you go flaccid and partially lose connection to the pads, the intensity will skyrocket.

Add more if you think of them.

Since i already have a TENSE device (the predesessor of [url=http://www.dittmann-gmbh.com/images/anleitungen/en/ten250-en.pdf]this one[/url]) i would like to use that device instead of throwing money away.
The manuel reads "Don't put it onto dick" guess what i did^^.

The two products seem pretty similar:

So i guess my device seems to be weaker only the pulse width can be a bit higher.[/spoiler]

As mentioned i already tried it out for a short duration on a low intensity and it works fine and feels nice (Its hurting a bit in a nice way if intensity is at ~ 10 mA).

So to be sure and remove any concerns i would like to ask you guys if you have expierence or concerns about that kind of stimulation and the [u]device[/u] is it save to use?!
For me 10 mA is the starting point where it is starting to get intense, i don't know how someone goes up to 50 mA (even on other regular body parts) and the other TENSION device even supports 80 mA x_X.

Before i try to get higher i want to hear feedback :D
