CTI - Community

Back on the old forums I remember there were a few big image sets to fill up your tease with, but I've lost all the pictures since then. Anyone have something similar? Or at least somewhere to just mass download some fitting images?

Most images are well tagged and I can usually find something that works.

I use Pixiv with Pixiv++ to filter out anything with less than some arbitrary number of bookmarks. Sometimes Gelbooru/Danbooru if I'm desperate.

Alright, thanks you two, what's the best/easiest way to go about downloading images from either of those places?

I've always had a soft spot for the ehentai website. Large selection, even if the search engine is a little off for it.

Maybe this is relevant to your interests?

I think that specific instance isn't functional, but maybe the practice exists elsewhere?

That would actually have been awesome if the host would have kept it up.

I'm pretty aggressive about culling low-quality stuff, but I recently scraped a tumblr and probably still have a couple of crappy stragglers.

Just realized that I'm using two programs that might really help.

Tumblr Image Downloader: http://sourceforge.net/projects/tumblrimagedown/

This will scrape all of the images off of a tumblr and dump them into a folder for you. Just find a tumblr that caters to your interests and watch the content pour in.

Set this loose on your pics and cards folders and it will find similar or identical images and let you clean them up.

In the past, when I didn't have any pictures available but had access to CTI cards, I used http://slidelr.com/ to pull random tumblr images and just set my CTI cards to display every 100 seconds instead of 10. I would then view the windows side-by-side. It worked relatively well.
